Columbus,

I did notice those BAND BARS in the 6 Minutes charts posted by you. However I have little understanding of those BAND BARS.

Appreciate if you keep me posted on the settings for BAND BARS in Trade Tiger. I tried but in vain.

Raghav
Raghav,

This is quite simple in TradeTiger.Basically we are merging volumes with
price and this can be done like this.
1.On any basic chart right click.
2.Choose modify chart.Select volume.OK.
3.Select SUBGRAPH.Select price and merge. Here the option to change
colour is also there.OK.

Today there were plenty of opportunities both the sides in DLF,HDIL,ICICI which are on my watchlist.

And if someone says BB cant be used on a trending day just see below.

When I entered at bull no 1 my target was 833 and it gave me some surprise offers.when market offers unexpected gifts I accept it nimble footedly with both the hands. @ bull no 2 my target was 847 I got a little bonus.

How do I calculate target will be dealt with separately. My intention is to point out how simplest things can reward consistently.

Some of the images above miss some studies...............

@columbus.

Operation BAND BAR successfull .................

Raghav

BB(20,2) of nifty futures on time frame 4/6 min are presented below.

1.Choppy Market:

Go long when Red+Green candles pierce the bottom band and wait for 15minutes
for confirmation after taking position, otherwise come out with stoploss.
Go short when Green+Red candles pierce the top band and wait for 15minutes
for confirmation after taking position , otherwise come out with stoploss.

In case of Verital rise or Vertical fall ,the above rules may not work and have close
look at the central line and outer boundaries always.Perhaps this may qualify for case.2.
A close of candle outside the bands need not necessarily mean termination of trend but it be continuation as well.
Have patience to keep a watch on those situations.

2.Strong Market:

If the candles are concentrated in Top band go Long.
If the candles are concentrated in Bottom band go Short.
The Proximity of candles with respect to Outer boundaries indicates the Strength.
More strength means more closer to Outer boundaries.

Avoid trading when the Bollinger Band is narrow.

Bollinger Chart of 30/4/10 with Stochastics + RSI (in bottom pane)
is attached.

Developed by George C. Lane in the late 1950s, the Stochastic Oscillator is a momentum indicator
that shows the location of the current close relative to the high/low range over a set number of
periods. Closing levels that are consistently near the top of the range indicate accumulation
(buying pressure) and those near the bottom of the range indicate distribution (selling pressure).
Readings below 10 are considered oversold and readings above 90 are considered overbought.
(Choice depends on risk appetite). The parameters used are (3,8,4).

The RSI line is indicated in BLUE. Deliberately the other line in RSI is chosen
Black,so that it will go into background.(Since it is a wavily line).Readings below 30 are considered
oversold and readings above 70 are considered overbought.

Your feedback and suggestions are utmost welcome.

Thanks a lot Columbus ji for clear cut explanation of using the Stoch with BB.. Actually i was trying different combination of stoch, that i have come across in various videos.. such as (5,3,3) ( 9,6,6).. But then still i was not convinced.. and hence i was looking for better settings for intraday, and i feel that i have come across one.. with ( 8,3,4)..

Thanks a lot

Sai,

Sorry .Small correction. The parameters should read as (8,3,4)
You can see the same on the chart also.I hope you noticed the
change.
Other boarders please try to improvise on it and let us know ,
so that to make the system ROBUST.
