Interesting observation. What time frame is this observation valid in?

As far as EOD is concerned, I feel it is upto the trader whether he wants to make things complex or keep it simple.

Tc
Time Frame does matter a lot.Though it has no bearing on SMA20. In fact
I represented SMA-20 with 2 colours for bullish/bearish conditions,
as expected ,a LAG is found always.

Coming to TIME FRAMES at a lower timeframes ,the Bollinger Bands tend to
be Narrower.Candles hits the mid line and outer boundaries frequently.
At 0300 ,there is no point in having 1min time frame.Better to stick to higher
(4/5min) time frames.Similarly at 1000 there is no point in sticking to 5min
frame.Just use 1 min to capture the finer details.Longer timeframe gives the
trend. So variation of TFs from 1~5 will help a lot.

Thanks for your inputs.

I almost never day trade, but it's always good to learn something new.

It is always to better to allocate more than 50% to delivery trading ,
and rest to MediumTerm + Swing + Day trading.

Fixed TF vs Variable TF

Let us consider a TF of 5 min and BB(20,2).

Since 20 samples are involved with TF=5 min ,the BB signal will appear after
20*5=100 min.So we will get the first BB signal at 10.40.(In case market opens
at 0900).

With Time Frame= 3 min the first BB signal will appear at 10.00 (0900+20*3).

That is the reason ,in the initial stages we will stick to lower Time frames.

do u trade solely on candle stick patterns & BB signals or you prefer some other indicators alongside as well?

Certainly I will give more weightage to BB but at the same time I will give
due importance to RSI + Stochastics.

alrite....personally....i haven't found RSI & Stoch to be of much use in TFs as short as 3min & 5min!! i prefer MA crossovers!

Hi anayash,

Fine ,taste from person to person differs.I am producing same graph with
RSI (Blue line). It helped in detecting the peak at 1330.Using BB+RSI+Stoc
in conjunction (not separately) may help.
