Yes, the bands shows only average values.
This is NIFTY chart.The closing value is 8300.Checked with NSE website.
The ACTUAL highs and low were 8322 and 8225.
(you can find them just above the X-axis)

Hi ankur,

I never tried BB ,on any commodity ,including Crude oil. You can use BolingerWorm,
another variant of BB, which uses 1 Standard Deviation as
StopLoss.[BB (20,1)]You can use any Stop Loss ,that suits your requirement.
[BB(20,1.5) or BB(20,1.2)].
