hi columbus, few queries

1. whats the significance of sma20 white line ?

SMA-20 serves 2 puroses.1.It serves as an overall trend initially.
2.Serves as trailing Stoploss in the fag-end.

do we go long only when current bar is below sma20 and the BB condition is true ? do you see any scenario where current bar is not below sma20 when BB condition is true. same thing on short side
The course of action on relative position of current bar (either green or red) depends on the overall trend on that day,so no definite answer.

2. will this method work for nifty stocks ? or only nifty futures
Nifty futures mainly. The nifty stocks lacks sometimes the required
volatility and the method is based on volatility.

3. whats the meaning of cloud here ?
Cloud ????????.I never heard it before.

4. what would be the SL ? For long, is it the low of red candle and some filter ?
Better to stick to variable stoploss based on the prevailing
market sentiment and to start with 14 point filter.

5. do you have a AFL for this with entry/exit levels ?
No AFL.I am not that expert.

thanks a lot for your contribution on this method
You will find answers above.

Cloud is the name given to the method of painting the area between the two bollinger bands while writing the AFL code.

The bollinger bands in the charts posted by columbus do not use such coloring.

You may refer to the AFL posted by THE LORD which used the 'cloud' for the painting the area between the bollinger bands.

Hi murthy,

CLOUD is nothing but colouring between Upper and Lower bands.
Thanks for info.

BB(20,2) of nifty futures on time frame 3min-5min
are presented below.

Go long when Red,Green candles pierce the bottom band,
Go short when Green,Red candles pierce the top band

Please continue with TREND if candles graze(ride) TOP/BOTTOM
bands.

i have tried many scrip with considering total volume
and capital, but success rate is not like nifty and index!
hence stoploss hit frequently.
i am using stochastics indicator along with BB(20,2)
Thanks for guideline,i think practice make perfect!
hence after a month my entry and exit has been
improved :)

What a move at the fag-end.
Description is self-explanatory in nature.

I mentioned here manytimes that BB may not work
for individual scrips.I know many heavy scrips which
may stay at the same price for hours together. For BB
to be successful volatility is a MUST,which you will
find in Nifty futures.
