1.Use standard Bollinger Bands ,that is, bb(20,2).

2.Use ema2-HIGH and ema2-LOW to outline the body of the worm.

3.If the body comes out of bands & re-enters ,then make an ENTRY.

4.The EXIT is, if body comes out the other band and re-enters the body.

5.In case of extreme Bullishness/extreme Bearishness another
pair is used pertaining to BB(20,1) or just for guidance in normal case also.

6.If candles are sandwiched between UPPER bands BB(20,2) and BB (20,1)
ride the trend OR LOWER Bands of BB(20,2) and BB (20,1) ride the trend.
If either ema-2H or ema-2L is cut twice by either BB(20,2),BB(20,1) or
SMA-20 in quick succession ,it indicates a END of a trend.Continuation is
indicated if both ema-2H and ema-2L are cut by SMA-20 and/or BB(20,1)
and/or BB(20,2).

timepass,I see. What is your experience with Stoch? Stoch with RSI is good.
Basically I want to keep this thread as Database thread also.Previously
Bollinger Bands used to be a database thread before it became a EOD
thread.
I mentioned stochs in my earlier post in reference to the June rise. But still the worm combined with stochs+RSI is quite a fruitful reference points, though these days I am more into exploring candle patterns :D

BTW, what's with the "W" on the worm in the first hour of trading ?? It's been occurring quite frequently of late. Any idea ?

Yes, on MICRO level a "W" and on MACRO level a "M" and a straight line on
MacroMacro level.SMA-20 gives rough picture of the day.

Hi TP,

What are stting for Stoc + RSI ?

Hi TP,

What are stting for Stoc + RSI ?
I am using TradeTiger defaults, Stochs (S,3,5,3) and Rsi(E,9,14).

For today, notice the stoch divergence (9.25am & 10.45am) - a sort of double top, confirmed by crossover on RSI, and the downmove on the worm with EMAs moving out of BB(20,1) and 20MA turning red. That's a lot of indicators, but a careless newbie like me often needs to use a hammer to kill a fly :D

But Stoch setting of (S-3,8,4) is famous.
After 11AM there is no need to barrow yesterday's readings.
If you barrow yesterday's readings ,the chart is bound to FLATTEN.
