A little more on APW
It enjoys a 35% market share and has a strong brand presence. Its business is spread across difference segments like electromechanical components for electronic & telecommunication, networking, IT, medical instrumentation industry. The Rs 100 billion hardware sector is growing at 20% CAGR.
Its products include enclosures, cabinets, 19 racks, card frames, plug in modules, instrument cases, and outdoor cabinets. The products are also exported to Australia, Singapore and Dubai. Exports contribute 12.5% of sales.
Its total customer base is 3000, which includes elite customers like TCS, Wipro, HDFC Bank, ABN AMRO Bank, ABB, BHEL, Indian Railways etc.
There is an increased thrust from manufacturers and their multinational customers to use only international quality enclosures. It expects sales growth of 20% year-on-year. For current year company could achieve sales of Rs 70-75 crore (Rs 700-750 million). Its rights issue is priced at Rs 40.
