Sensex currently trading at pe of 19+ with a f/w p/e of 16. Looking at the GDP, India projected GDP would stand at 7.7 and inflation at 4.3 (f/w ed)0 which would be next to China GDP at 9.4 and inflation at 2.4 China currently trades at 21 p/e and f/w pe of 22
In flat, Sensex could make to a 14700 level (ofcouse not a straight beat) as all the corporate results have been good

It is good time investing but you need to be selective as usual. I have been watching a script Balaji Amines analysts have given a target of 540 and yes it is moving up. I am not sure as I have been out of the markets for quite some time.
I have just invested in a script Ansal Housing, you can buy it on declines or on weak market days. Ithink this script can give decent returns

BTW - sorry I could not update you on Valecha but I think Amaraja Battery has given decent returns

Thanks and Regards
Supratik
Thanks for the new tips Supratik.
Regarding Valecha, I am still having that!
Recently it again started uptrend, but today it is again down!
I should have bought Amararaja Battery, but didn't have money at that time and hence couldn't get the profits!

Anyway, it is a mixed bucket and I am happy that I am still on the profit side:)

Please do keep posting and if you have any views or news on Valecha, kindly let me know.

I have one more scrip: Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills.
My average price is 217 Rs. Today it is at Rs. 88!
So, if you know anyting about this counter, please do let me know.

Regards,
Narendra

Thanks Saint -- lot of volatitliy in the last few months - taking little time to update myself.

Nice to have all of you posting here - I keep them reading

Thanks and Regards

Hi All,
Here is one script that I have recommended before at 230 and recommending again at 295. We have seen a high of 376 since then and have also booked our profits at 330. If you all have still not got it right it is Lakshmi Electricals. This is a short, medium as well as a long term pick.

However this counter is also sensitive to the market movements so please find your suitable entry points. As far as valuation is considered, it looks good with a net profit of 5 crs on sales of 50 crores standalone for FY06, I look f/w to an EPS of 32. Lakele is focusing on R&D to develop new products like; Capacitor Duty Contactors, Single Winding DC Contactors, APFC Panels etc. The Company is also modernizing Plastic Machine shop.

I have a medium term target of 350-375 and a long term target of 450 (odd)

(Disclosure: I have taken exposure in this counter at 280)

Thanks and Regards
Supratik

Thanks for the reply Saint.
I agree to each one of your points.
Regarding the "Study", what you said is correct.
One must study and then decide.
Yes, I did study before putting money into these.

I am not blaming anybody for losing some money.
Even if I lose 100% in Valecha, I don't blame anybody for that.
It was my decision to put money into it and I take the responsibility for that.

And I don't look at the stock price and buy. I do a little bit of study on the company before investing. And for studying, I depend on the Internet only. I don't have any other sources.
Regarding Valecha, recently there is no much news or info anywhere in the net. So, I thought I would ask Supratik.

When we entered market, we know that we are taking risks and I will be the only person responsible for all that.
I have made profits and also losses.
After the "super dive" of the market, when I evaluate the gains, I am still on the positive side. So, I am happy.
I could have got more profit, if I had known that the market is crashing.
But, I didn't know and I think nobody knew!!
So, we shouldn't regret for whatever has happened.

We must accept the fact and plan our next step.
The market might have started a "New Uptrend" or it is still in "Downtrend" or it might have entered a "Long term Bear Phase".
Whatever it is, we must try to find out the good picks and I am sure lots of them are there. And people like you or Supratik or Amit or Kartik can very easily identify such stocks.
That's the reason I came here again to check.:)

Hope, you people will again become active;)

Thanks,
Narendra
Hi Narendra,

In the deluge of a lot of personal issues, and the number of queries here,I had failed to reply to the post above from you........I think it was irresponsible on my part, and sincerely apologise for it.Especially after such a lengthy reply from yourself.

Glad to know that VALECHA 's dive didn't affect your portfolio too much, and hope you make back your losses.Make sure you study the nuances on money management(at least some basics) and wishing you all the best and success in the weeks, months and years to come.

Once again,apologies for not responding......

It's ok Saint.
I know that each one of you are very busy and out of your own interest, you have been trying to help out others.
And many of us have benefitted a lot from the tips and suggestions that you have given.
Just because of one bad scrip, you need not feel apologetic.

VALECHA is a "Real Estate" story and all of the "Real Estate" stocks fell down a big margin during market meltdown. And VALECHA followed the same trend.
But, still there is lot of scope for infrastructure development and this will bring good news to real estate stocks.
So, I am hoping that VALECHA will get back to its lost glory and get me some profit.

If you have any technical or fundamental study to share on this stock, please do share. That will help me to plan for the future course of actions.

Thanks,
Narendra

Hi All,
Recently I was reading on Tata Tea from magazines it looks like a good investment counter.
