each other then what happen to portfolio.

It is a good point of view for diwalicrackers. despite having a good economic conditions, the country risk seems to be very high for an indian for chinese markets. But I am sure, you can get some good insurance from american/british companies also one can trade those markets through american and european firms.

Hi Diwalicrakers,

So were you able to find any brokers who were willing to help you to invest in US?

I found that it is easier for us (indians) to open account in SGX (singapore Stock Exchange) but still researching on NYSE though.

Its easy,

All you have to do is contact an singaporean broker.. here is a list of them..


1. KIM ENG
2. Philips
3. limtan

but please do note they want a minumum deposit and also not every one provides for futures and options...

I am looking for place where the taxes would be lesser and may be I could do scalping... therefore wanted to try in NYSE/NASDAQ which are supposed to be the highest day trade volume markets..

Let me know if you ifnd out anything..
