can i use two different brokers ODIN software

i just want to ask that can i use two different brokers ODIN software in my (ONE)laptop simultaneously. because i am having account with JUST TRADE and RK GLOBAL. so let me now....

Don't think so... Its possible, unless you have two instances of same .exe running. If you can manage to do that, yes, probably you can login with two different id's.

Have tried this with Angel & IndiaInfoline - But no success.

Suggestion : Do not post multiple posts with the same/similar subject. You have just posted two queries in a span of just 7 minutes. Be Patient. Someone will post a reply.

i have account with 2 different brokerage firms and both are offering ODIN client to trade online. however i have only 1 pc and i have to make phone call to second broker every time i have to place an order [ as currently i can install and run ODIN for 1 broker only ].

i tried installing them in different directories but didnt work. pls. let me know if there is an easy way to switch ODIN client between brokers [ without uninstalling and reinstalling for other broker ].

any reference with this regard is highly appreciated.

Yes it is possible to use two ODIN,
but U have to make sure that
1. both broker offer same version, But one ODIN will work at a time.... but by below noted procedure u can repeatedly switch over...

2. U keep the registeries of both the brokers on ur desktop.

3. (if u dnt know how to import / export the registries, let me know)?

4. if U have two broker A and B, and then U have to keep the registries of both broker A and B ready on ur desktop.

5. Now if u want to run broker A, then just Run registry A prior to running the ODIN A and viz - a -viz....

6. If U tried to run ODIN A with the registries of B, it will not run....

7. If U have differnt version, it can also run, then U have to rename c:\odin like C:\odin_a and other be installed. if u want run A then it "B" be chnaged as c:/odin_b and the c:/odin_a be changed to c:\odin

8. Now if u want t run B, then first rename the folder c:\odin as c:\odin_a and the folder c:\odin_b be renamed as c:\odin
its little tedious...

9. If u still face some prblem, let me know, i reply u day after tomoro,

10. This u can do to any number of ODIN, subjected to fulfillment of above conditions..

THOSE PEOPLE ARE CLUELESS ABOUT THE REGISTRY

yeah i tried and did it on my own

just right click on the registry entry (on can see registry entry by typing run-->regedit-->odin )right click on odin and send that registry to desk top


and follow the method already described

u can use both brokers as same time just install any one odin
for example if u use broker r.k. and other one j.k. first install any one of it
and just ask u r other broker to give registry file and tel him you already install odin from other brokers also ask how u can install registry file
now u can use both odin at same time in different window

I do trade with religare both commodity & equity. to open both of them I usually first run the registry entry server diet .exe, for any one of them first and open the diet terminal say first for equities and then again I run the server diet .exe for commodity and then open the commodities terminal thus both the terminals work on the same computer.this we have to every time for opening the respective individual terminal.

exported it, and installed rkglobal diet and now again I wish to run angel diet so i imported the above mentioned *.reg file but im just unable to login angel.
plz help...
