I dont know about the other brokerages...i am charged on single leg of the order is squarred of intraday....if i carry home, then on squarring off i am again charged with per lot price...
a) I didn't know where u saw or heard .02. If its % you need to multiply with total value of trade.
b) It means, subject to minimum of 3 paise per share will be charged as brokerage. (Even though, brokerage per share is less than 3 paise while calculating it in %)
Understood???
For eg:
We take the above scenario and do the math here. We assume that .02 is .02% for intra-day and subject to minimum of 3 paise per share.
Share price is Rs. 25/-
You are buying 1 share. Here is how they calculate brokerage...
25*.02% = Rs. 0.005/- (this is as per % basis) but brokerage will be charged subject to minimum of 3 paise. So, your brokerage will be Rs. 0.03/-
