Please post transaction charges (it may be called as regulatory charges or turnover charges etc) for derivatives charged by your brokers. While giving the % please mention your broker.
As per rajputz first post,
For futures its .002% + S.tax
For options its .05% + S.tax

RKG's illustration shows higher than this... Here is a snap of the same.

Many many thanks for this nice detailed structure of the applicable charges but I couldn't quite understand how is the service tax computated. I've got a charges' list from my broker but the charges shown in the contract notes doesn't match when I try to compute using that list. If one needs to get a proof of these various charges & how they are computated so as to challenge their respective brokers in case of any discrepancy, how are they going to do that?

Thanks Dear,

Very USefull......
Just want to ask, does all the brokers give in writing the brokerage rates at the time of accepting all the forms or do they accept the all the other forms and then give the brokerage rates verbally and then latter on send the written confirmation about the brokerage, please advise this would be useful for all.

at first they tell you verballly...after you have signed with them and your account is opened, you recieve an official letter abt your brokerage which is a legal proof for your brokerage.
