THIS IS MY OWN WRITE UP SO PLEASE EXCUSE IF I AM NOT ABLE TO TALK FUNDAS OF TRAINGLES

SYMETRICAL TRAINGLES ARE FORMATIONS LIKE ASCENDING OR DESCENDING TRAINGLES

IN SYMETRIC TRAINGLES WE SEE TWO LINES CONVERGING AND A BREAKOUT CAN OCCUR BOTH ON THE UPSIDE OR DOWNSIDE
PLEASE CORRECT ME IF MY OBSERVATION IS WRONG ABOUT SYMETRICAL TRAINGLE PATTERN

THESE ARE JUST MY ASSUMPTIONS , SENIORS IF I AM WRONG PLEASE GUIDE ME

a few additions ....

They form when market is in indecision mode. Usually they breakout in the direction of the trend before triangle formation. Usually volume should decline during triangle formation and breakout should be supported by volume.

Depth is measured with a straight line, not slanting line. It is all geometry here

hi kamath

will post the link tommorow :)

generally its 12-15% of the contract value

say for eg for mininifty (lot20)

5000*20=100000

margin required 12% =12/100*100000=12000 rs

vishal,
Did u buy Amibroker. or just using trial. I m using Amibroker on trial. But unable to exploint its potential though I could download EOD.

Triangles are usually formed on long term data. Very Very rare to see them on intraday charts.

hi veluri

i m using the trail version there is a lot of stuff in amiboker buddy :)
u need to explore each and everything and things are much easier

traingle patterns are formed in short term say 2 3 months or longer term

i havent looked for any patterns in intraday but i guess one needs to be too professional enough to explore the oppurtunities through patterns in intraday

:)

there have not been posts from u lately how do u like this thread

looking forward
