The issue raised by you is alarming, as one may not be using only 5 min chart. And it is useless for higher time frames.
So have to look for some other data provider or have to be satisfied with Odin2Ami.
Further I have noticed they require many other SW or tools, like .netframework 4.0, Window Installer, Windows Imaging Component etc. Is it safe to install all these tools on XP. Any idea.
AFAIK, No problems with Framework 4. What Imaging component are you talking about? Most charting s/w do rely on on-board dedicated display RAM. If you have older PC, you might have speed issue...
I am not 100% sure as yet, but it seems that under-the-hoods of many of these providers, it is manshiRT. How can you tell?
Well, take a look at the folder in which it was installed on your PC. If it contains a file named NetSQL.Dll, it is using either data or technique or both from manshi. So whatever problems happened with Manshi will most likely continue to persist.
