Does Anyone knows about SBI 3in1 or investsmart.
Trying a lot to get info on them but all efforts went in vain.

thanks
Hi I know about investsmart.Till now i have not opened account with it but trying to open.
They have three things to offer
1.Smart Start for beginner.
2.Smart Invest for those who believe in long term investment.
3.Smart Trade for Intra day or very serious traders.
They charge 0.6% for buying and selling for delivery
and 0.1% for intra day.
750 Rs. for account opening and 300 Rs. for yearly maintaining it.

But wait if you are thinking it is too much don't worry.
I convinced then for a brokerage of 0.25% for delivery and .05% for intra day buy and
nil for sell. How???

I told I will give you 1,00,000 Rs. while opening the account and i will trade upto 10,00,000
per month(buying + selling). They agreed but they told we will monitor your account for three
month and after that we will charge 0.25% till that we will charge 0.33%.

The point is if broker will see that you can generate more brokerage they will reduce the
rate.Agent will talk to manager. You have to convinces them.

So why i am very much interested in investsmart.
The reason is in Smart Tread they give really very nice tools for technical Annalise.
Charts Graphs and there advices are very good.

So what smart people are doing?(investsmart also committed this fact)
People open account with them. They use there charting facility and trade with other brokers

So they also took smart step they charge 500 Rs. per month for that service. But if you fail to trade for one month they will stop that service. If you generate 1000 Rs. brokerage they
wont charge for charting facility.

Ex. If you generated 1050 Rs. brokerage/month you have to pay 1050(ST,ES & STT extra)
If you generated 850 Rs. brokerage/month you have to pay 1350(ST,ES & STT extra)

(Note:If you only pay 750 while opening they charge brokerage0.6%. So pay
10,000 or 15,000 Rs. in starting and convince them for brokerage 0.4%)

So what NEXT:

1. Only generate a little brokerage/month and continue getting charting facility .
2. Also start broking with Sharekhan and they also have 3 schemes (I wont explain them)
Go for 6000 Rs.yearly Prepaid brokerage and they will deduct the brokerage at 0.25%.
If your brokerage will go above 6000 Rs. They will charge brokerage at the rate of 0.25%
Means you can do total 24,00,000 Rs. trade(Buy + Sell).
After that 0.25% (ST,ES & STT extra)

This method is very useful if you trade using technical Annalise or learning technical Annalise

Because I don't know any provider of charts with many options for Indian market.
I got it in Investsmart. So I am intrested in this.

i have an account with sbi. sbicap is relatively new and not worth opening an account. I am now looking for a new broker. Here are some of the disadvantages of the online trading account with sbicap securities.
1) cannot trade in derivatives yet (they say will start soon)
2) have had problems with placing stop loss order.
3) have had problems with withdrawing money (even after T+2 and even though i have an sbi savings account)
4) they never reply emails.

Hi. I am new to options. Learning options trading after trading in equity for a few years now.

Say Nifty Call at 5000 has a premium of Rs.250. What I want to knw is the brokerage. Will it be charged on the premium or the Nifty value? My broker left me confused with al the big explanations abt lot size and all.

Also, are there any demo videos for options? Or screen shots which will show the trades done for options. Thanks.

The brokerage on options is usually 20/- bucks flat each way per lot irrespective of Nifty price or premium.
Plenty of videos on youtube, search there.

Sharekhan charges 1.5% or Rs. 60 per lot which ever is higher. How do I calculate the brokerage.

Here if I buy 150 nifty calls from the drop-down selector , is it considered 1 lot or 3 lots? 3 I guess.

Will advice you to trade with a flat-rate broker for trading options. There are many, like Zerodha or RKGlobal.
