Hi guys,

Recently I have spoken to one from Indiabulls and asked him about brokerage charges. He said 0.02 paise but on both side in commodities. I mean on buying 0.02 & on selling 0.02. Total 0.04 for one trade. Is this fair? because afaik it should only be 0.02. Please clarify.

Thanks in advance.
Thatz correct. 2+2=4 for one trade. Mind u, there are additional charges apart from brokerage. When u include those, then complete brokerage structure is distorting.

On 0.02 structure, you will end up paying no less than 0.1 on one round trade on intraday basis.:D

nathan,

I agree ICICIdirect is expensive not to mention unreliable and unprofessional. Read my thread http://www.traderji.com/brokers-trading-platforms/49864-icicidirect-review-feedback.html

1. Limit orders can be placed in IBULLS. Pre-market order allowed for NSE scripts.
2.You can link upto 2 banks with your trading account. Money can be transferred to IB's cash margin instantaneously from the banks linked to your trading account. This works if u have account with axis/hdfc/idbi/icici bank.
3. As somebody else has pointed out PIB get disconnected automatically after 1 hour if inactive. This may be bit inconvinient but is essentially a security feature. IB does not allow buy even in cash for some script it deems "not liquid". Otherwise PIB is very stable, effiecient if not spectacular, and their charges are transparent. You can also check out infoline or angel. All these platforms are 1000 times better than ICICIdirect.
