What freedom? What you consider freedom is a lease regulated by rules and regulations of the country, family...yada..yada..yada.. Like I said, the lesser you know the lesser....
@Bearishbull

We all have our ideas and minds about what ever. If you feel fine about what is done from certain government institutions by lying to us and spying on us, so that is fine. You can keep your mind about that and non will ever blame you about it as long as you never ever come up with any complains about it. Not today and also never in the future. Not when there is a leak about your data and not when any political structure has changed and may use all the data stored about your whole life, contacts, business activities and so on. So stay with your idea and it is accepted. As others accept your view and mind about it, do not start any discussion here about it.

I for my self are to 100% on the side of Einstein. So let the thread move on with new information what can be done from Joe Average about that spying and collecting data. Even it is not much, it is worth of any afford and it is even a very interesting subject.

Leave the government institutions aside. Neither you nor thousands like you can do anything about it. Heck...not even a pack of countries can do anything about it if it is the sole superpower doing it.

You can be hacked by a Joe Average hacker with simple details like your e-mail, your IP, your skype ID... Spying by govt. institutions is an alien game for Joe Average. He better get used to it.

Can we move on with the thread as it was before? Thank you. No need of your lectures. If you not can accept my post about your thoughts, kindly open your own thread to bring up your ideas about what ever and by by here.

Schneier on Security

A blog covering security and security technology: https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2013/09/the_nsa_is_brea.html#c1675929

What is the blog about? Part of it is also about that NIST, http://www.nist.gov/ which once was a trustful name, worked with NSA to manipulate encryption which is even used in the financial business http://csrc.nist.gov/publications/nistbul/itlbul2013_09_supplemental.pdf and http://x9.org/.

Hi

There is again an other problem with IE. Browsers which can be affected vulnerably to those problems are:

Windows XP with IE 7, 8, 9 and 10. and
Windows 7 with IE 7, 8, 9, and 10

Here the links to that problem: http://www.fireeye.com/blog/technical/2013/11/new-ie-zero-day-found-in-watering-hole-attack.html and http://www.fireeye.com/blog/technic...linked-to-deputydog-uses-diskless-method.html

At the moment no fix is available. NSA and other organizations are of course already informed about that problem and first will do what ever to use that Zero-Day in there way and then will give green light to Microsoft to give a patch to the public about that new problem. Here the link: http://arstechnica.com/security/201...ccess-to-zero-day-data-from-microsoft-others/

Until then install and use an other browser like Firefox to be sure to not be involved in that specific problem. As we now know more and more about certain things, you should not store any important data on any system you use on line. Store them on external hard disk and best use two operating systems on different laptops. One of them you 100% never go on line with. Here you do all your work and encryption. Things you have to sent on line, you put in the USB stick and past it already encrypted to the system you use on line. Now you can past it into your e-mail or what ever and sent. At the moment the only save way to communicate private. This just that you know how it would work in case you are interested in it.

Hi

Today is patch day from Microsoft. So be sure that you have the updates. The above zero day exploit and some other important issues are patched. The problem mentioned in this post: http://www.traderji.com/software-issues/70091-cyber-security-12.html#post892902 is still not patched. You still have to use the fix tool in case you have not done that in the mean time.

Adobe also has updates for his Shockwave, Flash player and AIR products.
