I know I need to have one system; backtested prides system last two nights and found it very good and simple..........done enough study till now on NR7, Fibonacci, Divergence trading, Elliot waves.......Also have realized the importance for having respect for the risk.......

Only for u WOD....try usng 15 min chart(instead of/alongwith 30 min chart) on Pride's system. The results will be mindblowing.

PS: Do test the system for Jan 2009 before you put your real money online...And in case you get good results from Jan 2009, do let me know as well.

If yours was bad, mine was a disaster!

Was long 4500 call at 79 in the morn.

Right at 11:15 my comp went on the blink followed by my modem! By the time I revived both, shocked to see the price of 25 and falling!!!!!!

Guess what to add to it, did not have a stop loss in place.

Things couldn't have gone more wrong!!

Bad day today for me :-

Had bot strange at 23+35=59, sold at 73+6.5=79.50 excl of brokerage.
(Kuch aaya but that made up for the loss in the straddle bot the day before)
Bot 2x4400CE @ 90, sq off at 96 then went on to 120
(Kuch aaya but that again made up for the loss in a PE purchased and made loss)
Placed order for RIL 1890CEx1 @ 25.3, went to 25.4 and then to touch 40+

Very bad

Thoda aur discipline and less disturbance required

I saw your posts where your were saying that system is failing repeatedly this whole year......but in the same thread in earlier posts you were praising the same system a lot......there are other people saying that this system does work well...

Anyways, will backtest this system for last 12 months this weekend.....

Here s my exp with this :

When pride introduced it, I was amongst the frst few to paper trade it on Live basis..You wud see some of my charts posted on the thread too...It went amazingly well.....After 10 days of paper trading it, I went into Live trading..and boi, it fell apart..i made few losses and a series of them....Then I backtested this starting from Jan 2009..The first month itself was a turn off for me...I had a -ve month(drawdown of around 10%) for Jan 2009....That was the end of me for Live trading this method but I kept on correcting people who used to come to the thread to learn it and always advised to paper trade it again and again...

Slowly and slowly many guys came and said it still works fine...Sunil also monitored for some days and told it does work to some extent...That got my interest back..(we are traders after all..we have be willing to accept our mistakes)....That was when Sunil came up with Mission Independence idea and I have not tested Pride system since then...

Before I started trading it, there was this idea that I want to try 15 min TF too....because somehow missing the large moves didnt go down well with me...But the failure of live trading just put me off from the path..

Recently only I just thought of dong somethin on it and used 15 min as higher TF...the results surprised me once again.....But since I am working on Ambush and some FX strategies too, I didnt get enough time to back test it...
Now, since you are doing it as a full system, I thought of passing this info to you....After all we are all here for collective improvement....
And thats y I advised you to test Jan 2009...it might be possible that I made some mistakes or anything else...

Alright....but I am not taking this system as it is, I would be adding my tweaks and if they works will post it here.......

No, I did not read that before but then I will read may read it tonight.....frankly don't wanna read it cause it seems like it is just another forum member trying to review her TPlan.....

Now enough of reading and talking about psychological, technical and risk management things.
Its time for action now; its time for applying all the said things above that I learned from you in a proper way......

AW, I think you have helped me a lot (from nuances of putting stop loss to all those techincal and psychological knowledge)......But no matter how much you help me or how much we talk about these things, I will not be improving unless I dont put all those learnings in to action.......

I am having feeling that, nowdays I talk more and do less.....wanna end it immediatley....

I hope you understand what I am trying to do now......I Will definitely seek your guidence (on other than what we have already discussed) in any difficulty....
