Why No Congressmen including Wadra are still living king like life as before & no news of all the election promises made to bring corrupt to justice

Reason is underlined:

Before election Modiji made promised to take action corrupts. But sadly they have not even registered FIR against Vadra. Less said about Vyapam the more...

ONGC alleged that RIL’s wells were “so drilled and constructed that there is a pre-planned and calculated slant/angular incline towards the gas reserves of (the) petitioner with a clear idea to tap the same.”

Overall, ONGC accused RIL of drawing natural gas worth Rs 30,000 crore from the former’s wells.
The implications of the committee’s findings and report are not good news to RIL, and even though the company might try to hide it with Jio launch, it will affect the financials of RIL in a big way.

The telecom operators are softly accusing Reliance of trying the same. If they do provide full interconnect points, there will be skewed traffic resulting in increased costs for them, while RIL will garner brownie points for good quality connection. The other operators' own networks will get clogged trying to provide services for RIL's "Free" period.

Anyway, the last seen news on CNBC was that RIL had come to some sort of agreement with BSNL for roaming calls.

Bharti Airtel on Tuesday said following its talks with Reliance Industries, it will provide additional points of interconnection (POIs) to Jio telecom services - a move that has been welcomed by the latter, while hoping other operators will follow suit.

"Airtel has been providing POIs to Jio, well ahead of the commencement of its commercial operations. With the latest augmentation, the total number of POIs will become three times the present number of POIs," a company statement said.
So might be respite for JIO callers.

India down to 112th spot on World Economic Freedom Index

NEW DELHI: India has slipped by 10 positions to 112th, out of 159 countries and territories, as it "fared badly" across categories including legal system and regulation, according to the Economic Freedom of the World: 2016 Annual Report.

Although China, Bangladesh and Pakistan lagged behind India at 113th, 121st and 133th ranks respectively, Bhutan (78), Nepal (108) and Sri Lanka (111) were better placed on the World Economic Freedom Index.

"India has fared badly in all categories i.e. legal system and property rights (86), sound money (130), freedom to trade internationally (144) and regulation (132) except the size of the government (8)," the report said.

According to the report, Hong Kong has the highest level of economic freedom worldwide, followed by Singapore, New Zealand, Switzerland, Canada, Georgia, Ireland, Mauritius, the UAE, Australia, and the UK.

The 10 lowest-ranked countries are: Iran, Algeria, Chad, Guinea, Angola, Central African Republic, Argentina, Republic of Congo, Libya and lastly Venezuela.

India's leading public policy think tank, Centre for Civil Society, has published the report in collaboration with Canada's Fraser Institute.

Income Tax department raids roadside eateries, small businesses to make declaration scheme a success

MUMBAI: The income tax department is leaving no stone unturned in its bid to make the income declaration scheme (IDS) a success.

With less than 10 days to go before the September 30 deadline, small businesses and roadside eateries-—many of which have never seen an IT officer before — are the latest to feel the heat.

In Mumbai alone, about 50 — including a well-known vada pav centre in Thane, a dosa centre in Ghatkopar, a sandwich centre in Andheri and a jalebiwallah in south Mumbai — were raided and the owners asked to declare their black money under IDS
