Allahabad HC orders UP officials, politicians to send their kids to government primary schools


ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad high court on Tuesday took a serious note of the pathetic condition of primary schools in the state and directed the chief secretary to ensure that children/wards of government officials/servants, those serving in the local bodies, representatives of people and judiciary, etc., send their wards to these schools.

"Only then would they be serious enough to look into the requirements of these schools and ensure that they are run in good condition," the court observed.

I will be moving this after noon for my 15 days trip to Kerala and TamilNadu.
My starting point will be Coimbatore, where I am going for a family ceremony. Though I have chalked out my itirernery for the whole trip (a circular one, Coimbatore to Coimbatore, in anticlockwise direction) but will finalise it on reaching Coimbatore this evening.

I have been to coimbatore 3 - 4 times and to ooty and kunoor too. amazing infrastructure in ooty and surrounding mountain range. i was surprised to see not even a single bump on the road.
