As for 9/11, Only the US government could have pulled off such a big stunt. You have to remember they are masters of disguise. Just like how they went behind saddam in Iraq saying Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.Till date not one credible weapon was discovered by UN inspectors from Iraq. The US obviously needed a reason to go to war with Iraq so they could control oil.
Also, just like how they faked sending man to the moon in 1969. Only the US can pull off such stunts.

MTNL to upgrade broadband speed: The Hindu News:
The Central government-owned telecommunications service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) on Thursday announced a free upgrade of its broadband download speed to minimum two mbps from 512 kbps across all the plans in New Delhi and Mumbai.

The upgrade will be in addition to the free night calling scheme that the company offers for calls from the MTNL landlines to all operator network from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. in the two metro cities.

The scheme will be effective October 1. The MTNL will provide the upgraded download speed to all new customers and existing customers can migrate to the higher speed plan.

EDIT: 15 years after the incident and with advancement in technology, My cell phone still cannot catch a connection a few minutes after take off, let alone at 30,000 feet. Still cannot believe people made calls from an airplane crusing at 32,000 ft saying they were hijacked and some of the callers actually spoke 10-15 minutes.. (at least as per the reports)
