Just out of curiosity what would have been happening inside the heads of traders who were long today!? obviously to take a short the other guy should sqr off or go long.

wen someone made money here,he was unaware of d event or even if he was aware, he took risk and acted nt bcoz US bombing bt bcoz he believed in his instincts.

That's the biggest drawback for ppl trading from office.

I always take positions based on technical views from sukhani, bramesh and other top trading bloggers.

I will note down resistance and supports before 9 and keep monitor to take the positions.

Today view is to buy if it stays above 8130... below 8130 its fall. There is a mistake from my side also.

Any suggestions or alternatives for monitoring charts from office.

From the opening and the first hour itself upside was looking weak. If one still had taken long, should hv gotten out with small loss or predefined SL. People get crushed on such day in contra trade only when they hold on to their loosing position... praying to God, Allah and Bhagwaan.

Trading, especially intra is big NO NO if you can't look at the chart and don't hv to time for it. You will only loose and loose my friend. First of all, do not go solely by what the technical analysts on TV are saying.. they give their overall perspective. In order to trade you must know how to read/analyse chart of your own. And if you are still comfortable looking at the chart and trading from office, do subscribe to some live IE based chart but never ever trade without one.

As soon as positive news flows will start in near future a real fast rally will onset. Hoping it in a few weeks. Lets see .

Even after a big fall today the fall was not like a fast paced panic stricken , market was moving properly in the correction mode.
