Glad to see posts where ppl are giving their views and positions they ought to take. Just quoting some. This makes my trading which is very lonely doing alone interesting. thts the best part of this forum

Anybody expecting a deep cut in Nifty today/tomorrow?
Many stocks trades near supports but not any buying pressure. Seems markets may go for a deep fall upto 8180 regardless of bullish options data and near to life time highs.

NF = Took long at 8404 above 5 min 9:50 ph high......because NF took support almost near yesterday LOD........ and SAR is today LOD.

I am booking profits in 8455-60 range...and look to buy in 8430-35 range whether to trade a rangebound market or be out of it and trade only trends is everybody's call.

There were rumors of this event coming through, now the news have confirmed why Kotak bank and Vysya bank were up 7% today.

Now looks like a def case of insider trading.... .. else how come stocks which hardly moves like 1-2% max moved 7% in a day without even official news release..

One more feature request which I feel would be good and may be our moderator can consider. Why not have a conference room for all members of this thread. People can just put on their mic/earphones and join in and rather than typing in can just state what they see on their charts and discuss on. That would save lot of typing in. A VC chat room or tie up with skype can be plugged into this website???

Not sure.. but I heard TJ used to have a common chat room kinda thing.. (once upon a time )

Now the only prob I think will happen wid common chatroom/conf thingy is dt.. diff ppl have diff way of trading.. some trade index,, some stock futures, some cash,, some currency. On dt.. everyone have diff kinda set ups.. some trade breakout.. some contra.. crossover.. afl's.. pa.. etc etc. TF also differs.. some trade 1 min. .some 5, 15.. Hourly..

So basically.. there will be loads of conflict and confusion and end result may not be very fruitful when one is trading the live market.

PS : my personal opinion.. but a good request.. letz see what the moderator/admin has to say on this.

True. but you can just listen and discuss when u are not trading. We are on trade only 5 -10% of time... my opinion. rest is waiting for set up and so on....

Hmmmm.... Letz say u are waiting for ur next trade. now u see.. X thinks dt now NF will fall coz of ABC reasons so sell here. But Y thinks dt it will rise coz of EFG reasons so buy here. Now your own analysis says it will be sideways so SOH.

Now because u listening to others.. u will start doubting ur own anlaysis.. why ?? coz diff ppl have diff way of looking at market and technically all could be correct in the analysis. Itz later dt market will move and show the true picture.

Again here.. best thing would be to just believe ur own analysis and stick to it nd dnt get moved by what others are saying (coz remmeber.. diff ppl trade diff methods/tf/set up/instruments and have diff way to analyse)..but then it defeats the entire purpose of the group talks But again.. counterview to dt would be.. "one can choose not to be part of the group during live market"

Well.. I'm not against it.. I'm just thinking out loud the pro's nd cons of it. The only pro's like someone funnily mentioned dt there will be less posting (so TJ will save some space limit in their server)

Chatroom /conf... i don't think any need for this..people are posting there views..can we go and trade them no!!
We are going with our setup..any other idea or methods, we can learn and only impliment after back test of that or if it suits our trading psychology ...
and i completely agree with manish !!
