Good pattern in USD-INR

Took a small positional long. Will add if position moves in my favour.
SL = Spot @ 61.42 as per Netdania Price. (There is no centralized quote for currencies.)

What made you infuse liquidity in your capital? Gone are the days of Rs. 3000?

I read somewhere that they also creat false view of bid vs ask. Like place order with big vol to reflect but then cancel then at last second etc..
This is right , several resting orders are created to paint a false image to the traders having a bias about a direction. The Algos cancel the orders in matter of fraction of seconds upon certain conditions met written in the programmed algorithms.

Interest Rate Futures have fair Volumes on first day at MCX & NSE both. Seems this instrument is going to be popular.

Yes, IRF has generated good volumes. On the first day itself, its generated more than half the volume of USD-INR Futures on NSE.

I think eventually it will be more liquid than Nifty futures & currency futures.

It is important to note that Banks can trade IRF. Banks cannot trade Nifty futures.

Bonds form a very big portion of a banks balance sheet. So, they need to hedge it properly.

Worldwide, IR derivatives are more popular than index futures.
