Guys, from day after tomorrow we can trade interest rate (bond) futures on NSE.

Interest rare futures tend to follow technical analysis pretty well and are pretty low volatile.

70% of exchange traded derivatives in the whole world are interest rate (bond) futures.

will it be available in NFO or NSE ? scrip name?

The NSE bond futures which will be launched on January 21, will be based on the 10-year government bonds, with underlying 7.16 per cent and 8.83 per cent coupon rate.

The product will be cash-settled and will be traded in the currency segment.

The permitted lot size will the Rs 2 lakh face value of government securities equivalent to 2,000 units. The trading will take place Monday to Friday between 0900hrs and 1700 hrs.

Hi all,
Look at TCS,TECHM,WIPRO, they have fallen badly,HCL will follow the suit on Monday?Will techM continue its fall?,cause the spot has closed below Tenken?Infy has also made a NR candle
Views well come.Also about Rlience ,cuase many have bot the puts.
To me looks like all IT Software stocks are/will be southbound

While the total gross market value of all derivative contracts was $20.16 trillion as on June 2013, interest rate derivative contracts accounted for three-fourth of it at $15.16 trillion, according to latest estimates of Bank for International Settlement (BIS)
