I think option price is based Nifty Fut and not spot.

I don't know why this confusion...

The reason is Future and Options (F&O) are in derivative segment not cash(Spot).

I may be wrong but if you calculate premium of options based on Fut price, there is no discount in it or any other options. :thumb:

I think the settlement on expiry is done on the basis of spot, since futures = spot on expiry.

Possible..but until expiry we should calculate option price based on Future.
We are seeing this confusion in TJ every now and then...let me search on net if there is any explanation on this..or if anyone knows please post.
