Actually risk aversion on a news event day. 2 trades in BNF, both the times in the right direction, but booked out at 20-30 pts because of volatility, not wanting a single paisa loss.

Still, booked about 200rs. loss in 6200PE later.
Its very good TP bro. We can not expect only profit from every trade. We have to just keep % and margin of winning trades more.

tgts for these patterns?:D
also if the nifty dips tomorrow below 6100 will these still hold?
I cant say for sure
But what I have noticed is,
The last leg keeps extending lower, if price dips down to a certain level.
(The formation of these patterns, is based on a complex calculation)

Although I havent done any study on it, but I have found that these patterns give favourable results, atleast in terms of bullish or bearish reversal, as the case may be (more so in higher tf).

Hembhai,

Thanks understood it but my doubt was if we use an MA line and take longs if price above ma system and vice versa today no PL in 5 min charts for reversing the trade :(. May be it fails on days like this but I guess it will make money in the long run :).
Hi
I am not experienced trader..but I try to explain it as per my knowledge...MA line is a lagging indicator..so it changes after price changes..when it will change its color depends that how much price is away from MA line...sometimes u will see that prices are making lows 2 & 3 candels ( means red bars ), but Ma is still green...here if u see,at 10:59 candle..MA already turn red..so all lagging indicator cant catch starting of trend & completion of trend..entries & exits are always late on those methods which depends on MA..
Sorry, I am not an experienced trader..but this is just my observations...I just write it ,if it can help
thanks
