if you not do double click. select the line and change color in "select color" (pencil) icon in "format tab".

Change colour here. All new lines will now be of that colour.

Maybe there is a better way, but I do not know.

But this is for individual TL and not for default one
That is if I want to change colour for all TLs
It is there, perhaps via preference, I remember, but forgot the steps
