Raj bhai, this initiative of yours could end up turning as a real distraction mainly for you.

it will be difficult to administer the scheme single handedly and to keep track of who predicted what and when.

instead of making an offer of 4L prize, why not share 'big fish' method in real time ...?

thataway not, one but lot of guys will be able to make 4l and that too from the MKT.

as eventually a traders focus ought to be on making money from the MKT and not predictive wagers/wager like activities.

What works for one will not work for another - each one of us is tuned differently.

Most methods we know of, like Simple Average, Moving Average, RSI, MACD, Fibonacci, DeMark, etc will work, but the trader's life goes through all these experiments, and after a certain period of time, he/she will find that one is more suitable to him than other.

In the next step, the trader will try and maximize use of that method to increase % of success.
Please note, every method will have its set of trades which take the stops too

End of the day, the % successful trades should be more than the ones where one loses.

This is a tough phase to sustain, endure and go through. :thumb:

Nothing is forbidden in TJ as long as it helps members to learn the craft of trading and evolve as better traders.I have read last few posts....but we are not convinced that there is any method to forecast the index level to the last digit days in advance. So it will be a wild guess or shooting in the dark kind of guesswork which anyone can do....if someone claims that he has a definite method of such accurate forcasting, and he will share this method we would like to hear from him. Else how does a common member of TJ benefit by this competition...there are many great traders but they are of no use to common members unless that show desire to share their methods....and they may not share the exact method which they trade but all good traders have a atleast 2-3 methods which are as good as the method which they trade.We dont want to encourage " Look I bought here...sold here...made so much but wont tell the method...for that you have to subscribe to my paid calls " kind of experts....

But we are not having a closed decision on this....but the present form is not to our liking...we are open to consider some other form which will help the general members...

Stay away from announcing such prizes...who is going to monitor who posted what levels...who won...how much, whether paid or some controversies over payments.....stay clear of all these issues.

Rajbhai,

You may be a rich person...you may deserve to be rich. Why you offer it to traders?...instead offer that money to some poor or poor kids who cant afford for education/food. That will help some one.
If you pay free money to traders they will lose it within no time to market :lol:

One needs to earn it hard way to save it.

A few days ago, I had some argument in the other daily thread. The reason was that I was of view that only Fibb can't be the basis of trading while the other person was adamant on it. In fact no one can rely solely on one signal to enter trade because that defies the basis of "Having odds in your favor". See what happened to those who entered based only on Fibbo.

1st instance.. NF did return from 61.2% and shorters made money.

2nd instance.. NF again looked like reversing from 61.2% but failed.

Now, having said this, we all know that not all the trades are winners. Good entries may fail and bad entries may end in profit. As a trader, our ultimate aim is to make money but we should continue to uphold the belief that "There are multiple ways to trade the market and none can say that his method is best and other's are worst." Smart traders are the one who use diff skills as the scenario demands and come out profitable.

PS. - This is not a remark on anyone. These are my personal views and intention is just to re-iterate the fact that there are diff ways to trade the market. Traders can't rely on a single method and must know diff approaches and use them as the situation demands.
