Hem .. u r correct .. we are here to make money ..it may be true for any profession .ultimate is to make money..BUT if not love that profession we never make money ..it very well applicable to trading than any other job/profession.. so to make money one should have passion to trade .. if not u r basic interest is to trading , i dont think one can money here ..

Livermore on knowing yourself

It is my conclusion that playing the market is partly an art form, it is not just pure reason. If it were pure reason, then somebody would have figured it out long ago. That’s why I believe every speculator must analyze his own emotions to find out just what stress level he can endure. Every speculator is different, every human psyche is unique, every personality exclusive to an individual. Learn your own emotional limits before attempting to speculate, that is my advice to any one who has ever asked me what makes a successful speculator. If you can’t sleep at night, because of your stock market position than you have gone too far, if this is the case then sell your position down to the sleeping level.

On the other hand, I believe everyone who is intelligent, conscientious and willing to put in the necessary time, can be successful on Wall Street. As long as they realize the market is a business like any other business – they have a good chance to prosper.

I am also bearish but are we trying to see what our mind is showing us. When i see charts no bearish setup has appeared but don't know why i am still bearish.
The mind is incapable of telling us for certain if the MKT is going to be bullish or bearish at any given point of time.

The mind however does have the capability to make decisions on which outcome either bullish or bearish has a low risk and a high probability entry...

The methodology that I follow gave me a Price exhaustion signal/area , and i've acted accordingly ..

you should have longed though or stayed SOH if you didnt see a bearish setup .. if you have a method, you *must* stick to it and not take contrarian calls to your method !!

even if the current NF PUT trade of mine doesnt work out, I will still trade TD Combo and Sequential the way its supposed to, and NOT contrarian to it. :D
