C'mon man ...

while I agree of almost all of what you said, this is where i disagree, respectfully ...

I just went through the links that LTT had posted ... a certain "Federation of rational society", quacks actually in my opinion, demanded ISRO chairmans resignation because of his puja .. !!

when did india stop being a free country ? when did believers stop having the right to perform a religious act ?

do you even realize how stupid all this sounds ?

As long as the chairman didnt spend taxpayer money to perform the puja, I think the atheist crowd should just STFU.

there is no edict or fatwa on doing a puja, whenever, in FREE India. The crowd ought to stop behaving as if there is.
If your argument is just pleading 'atheist crowd' to STFU and attacking the person/group as quacks instead of ideas (truth is truth even if a quack says it) or mistaking democracy for truth (truth doesn't care for votes or voters) or popularity contest for truth then we don't have any discussion at the level of principles which have any commitment towards truth or knowledge. The discussion moves from philosophy to rhetoric and slips further down to the level of empty tantrums.

Imagine a chief court judge/president taking our tricolor flag to a fringe group of a black magic cult and offering prayers.
Once the flag gets involved and the person is head of Indian office, entire situation moves from personal belief and prayers to breach of secular ethics/respect to flag.
In our case instead of flag we have prototype of a national asset payed by tax payers and he is head of scientific institution. Even if president buys a flag with his own
money still he can't abuse it by acting outside secular code of conduct and code of respect for the flag and present it under the feet of some baba/ghost.

Having said the above I want to bail out from this topic, I have no interest in any of these current events until I can bet on them ;).
But I felt like throwing a couple of pointers for the interested people to think and explore further on topic.

Are you really Confident in trading ?

1.Do you belive in your self that we can succeed as trader ?

2.Do you have a method( what ever may be) with positive expectancy ?

3.Do you have Patience to wait for the opportunities rather then rushing into market ?

4.DO you follow your trading rules ?

5.Are you able to enter trade/s with suitable set up is met even that may hit SL(stop loss) ?

Sweet.

I must commend the "rational" thought process for equating a puja with black magic and god as baba/ghost. :clapping:

Such sheer intellectual depth.

actually you are right this time accidentally!

Although you don't see the common attribute between both black magic and pooja share: its belief minus rational thought process, to grasp concepts, categories, commonalities and analogies one does need some intellectual depth, analogies are the only hope to explain some thing new to others if the analogy flops or the person has not developed the capacity to grasp the analogy then well... only god can help!

Posting after a long time...the last month seemed like an eternity to me. On the one hand I was blessed with a baby while at the same time I lost my father last month. Loosing father hurts.....

Guys when to sell a stock. I bought a stock a couple of months back and since then it has doubled. Now I am tempted to book profits but the stock and the markets look strong what to do?

How do people manage the patence of holding on to a multibagger ?

Haha ..

I'm glad that the country is not run by such awesome intellect and nor is ISRO.

Else all we'd have is rational seculars boring the rest with their concept of "life/truth/ideas" ad nauseam.

Would have never reached Mars otherwise. :D

Once you exit u will become sane and then u can reenter ...

Good for you! A donkey never bothers about concepts but scientists do. We send rockets to Mars not because of absence of booooring concepts but *because* of abstract concepts/ideas or else a donkey will reach for moon faster and first.
