values for nifty futures can be updated manually. it's just one index. I don't think that would take too much of an effort. :rolleyes:

The cells for the "open" values are linked to the nse site. when u open the file tomorrow after 9:15 the "open" values will change automatically based on the open prices of the stocks. This would in turn change the conditions. So u will have to wait till tomorrow to get the right conditions. the open values u see now are today's open prices. The only effort u have to put in is to copy yesterday's bhavcopy to this workbook and rename it to "data". This would update the high, low and close to yesterday's values.

Dear Friend,

I just added manually nifty future with todays price and this is what i got.

SYMBOL OPEN HIGH LOW CLOSE H1 L1 H2 L2 Condition
NIFTY Future5321.65,5333.7,5271.5,5305.75 5320.4 5299.6 5341.1 5278.9 C2

First i added a row in Data Sheet, manually entered the future details and then another row in sheet 1 but when i copied the formulas in sheet 1 it gave an error , #NA for open H1 L1 H2 L2 and Condition column too. high low close got populated. Then i manually entered the open price of nifty Future and the above details is what i got with condition as C2

Hope what i have done is correct, if the formula gives error for nifty future , then i have to enter manually for open price only.

Thanks

don't make any changes to the cells. use sultan's excel for nifty futures. this excel auto populates itself only for the given stocks.

Thanks a lot JXCESS for the file..
I have downloaded the file and even copied the data from NSE, but there seems some confusion in the conditions.
Can you please explain with an example for todays pick of yours i.e JSW Steel.
I got the below figures for JSW Steel for today.

SYMBOL==OPEN==HIGH LOW==CLOSE==H1==L1==H2==L2==Condition

JSWSTEEL==681.7==688.5==672.85==679.5==683.2==678.0==688.5==672.8==C3 or C4

Thanks in advance

The data is not updated in NSE site. The old site may be discontinued. Only nifty and jr nifty have todays values. Please check.

yes it's not working but I have another sheet which has only nifty values and that is working. I'll modify the sheet and check it tomorrow. I think it's not working because I have put all the stocks on 1 sheet
