Someone please explain (in detail),
if there is a change recently,
in crediting profit amount, in option trading (first buy and then sell trade only)
intraday as well as carried overnight
and
no no, not loss amount
as they will debit it the next moment, I square off my trade :DD

whats the problem you face...
intraday profits are added in next day ledger and carry forward trade profits are added t+1 day to ledger.
payout can be processed on clear credit. that is i guess u can place on t+2 and payout will be in your bank on t+3.

Which is better to trade? Nifty options or Bank Nifty Options?

View attachment 44420
Targets of Banknifty are low here..
1st target => 35 points. (remember that Banknifty moves 20 points in say 10 seconds.
2nd target => 100 points.
3rd target => 220 points (approx 1%)

this is only my personal targets... there might be more optimized targets.. traded by others.

Case 1: Suppose I buy 1 lot of BN 22500CE (on Monday) @ 100 and sell it same day for 140, what should be the total credit (on completing this buy/sell trade) to my trading account. (not accounting for taxes etc)

Case 2: Suppose I buy 1 lot of BN 22500CE (on Monday) @ 100 and sell it on Tuesday for 160, what should be the total credit (on completing this buy/sell trade) to my trading account. (not accounting for taxes etc)

Case 3: Suppose I buy 1 lot of BN 22500CE (on Monday) @ 100 and sell it on Tuesday for 160, again buy same strike at 140 after an hour. What should be the total credit/debit (for these 2 trades) to my trading account. (not accounting for taxes etc)

Case 4: Suppose I buy 1 lot of BN 22500CE (on Monday) @ 100 and sell it on Tuesday for 160, again buy same strike at 140 after an hour and sell at 200 . What should be the total credit/debit (for these 3 trades) to my trading account. (not accounting for taxes etc)

Please let me know. Thanks

But the options may not move the same way, depending on the strike. Near the money option may have a delta of 1, but the further one goes, the options only move in the same direction, but not with the same speed.

Maybe better to fix up the targets in percentages and have multiple entries/exits/lots.

Take is like this..
Whatever you earn in a trade will be credited next day.
Whatever you loose in a trade will be debited immediately..
