If you believe that the game is dead, then you get out and stay out. If you think that it's only a match lost in the game, then you practice more and play matches at lower levels.

You lose at international level, you practice at home and play domestic matches at all possible levels. It accounts for practice too.

This is the reason that they have practice matches before the various important series. You put in all you got in practice matches too, the same as you would in the main event.

Why is trading difficult ?

Because :

• 1) Trading "with the trend" means "Buy high, sell higher". : That takes guts, to buy when the price has already risen. A retracement may be a reversal.
  
• 2) Trading "contra" means "Buy while it is going down". : That takes guts too. You want to wait for a retracement/consolidation before taking a decision.

Both the above are against common sense. That's why trading is so difficult, because you have to have very uncommon sense.

One way to tackle this problem is buy 50 % on breakout....and buy 50 % in the first dip after the breakout provided the trend is still intact....and ride the move.

Also, that's the difference between the job of a bowler and a batsman. If a bowler bowls a bad ball, he max he loses is 6-7 runs (unless it is a match decider ball).

If the batsman makes a mistake, he is out. He has not only to protect his wicket, but also score runs.

Kyon ?? Practice with smaller amounts. I added another Rs. 1000 to my account today.
