Generally till what time do you wait to judge if the day can be range bound or can show movement with strong momentum?

First 30-45 min should tell us what kind of day we are trading.

mere hi question ne mujhe hi con fuse kar diya .i was thinking to leave option and move to future.....now again have to think over....ek daam correcto baat ki options are like SWARG KI APSARA

Swarg ki Apsara......peeche jo uske chakkar me paagal ho gaye unki line lagi hai.

With Banknifty, the index much more slippery than the options.

That suits most of the traders

my new year resolutions :

1) wait wait wait for good R : R set up => very few trades per day 2 - 3 max.
2) defensive style => low risk , low profits
3) good money management => capital protection
4) no trading on expiry day / RBI policy day

How ?? Like the resolutions of "I will stop smoking" etc..

No problem. I run a special version of TJ which what ever you post simultaneously translates in any of my wished languages.

This is one option strategy you never revealed here on TJ

On dull small range days dont trade....trade only when the market is strong and having a good traction.
