Experts,

One question.

Might be idiotic but need some adivce.

1) If one person is able to trade well in both tfs 5 min and 1 min, what do you think will be better to take trades on 1 or 5?

2)I tried back testing same method by implementing same rules in 1 min, and found that profits are way more compared to 5 min tf.

What would you do on this scenario :( ?

Go ahead with whatever gives you better returns at that moment. Intraday, there are no fixed rules. So, don't get fixated on any particular system or timeframe. Just yesterday some member here wrote that he looks at 1 min for the first 15-20 minutes and then 5 min.

Did you deduct the costs (includes slippage) in your backtests?

I am not Expert but at my level I think
1. 5min. tf provide some more time while 1min. tf provide some more trades.
2. 1min. provide more accuracy while 5min. tf more probability.
3. 1min. more accurate so less slippage while 5min. chances of slippage.
Finally its depend upon individual's ability of taking quick decisions and execute them in real time.
