Further, I think, you must be a genius if you can understand and follow Pratap's charts and explanations. Because for me those are nothing more than a colourful/multicolour charts and black letters (kala akshar bhains barabar). I never be able to understand his charts (so hotch potch, no clarity, every time in different style) nor his explanations. Once I asked him through a post, that if he can make these things simpler or if he can explain these things in simpler terms. His reply was no, he cant. And he added that these are the simplest form of explanation. I kept quiet, What else can I do. :D
I was thinking that I am posting in the simplest language.
But no
They have problem
How did you felt when others think that your explanation was not simple enough, but u keep claiming that you are posting in simplest language? Pratap would have felt the same way when your brain is seeing/commenting the colors in chart, while Pratap was explaining the logic in simplest terms.

Just because you didn't understand doesn't mean its complex. It just didn't reached your brain thats all. Same holds good, when your brain got something and other didn't grasp it.

The fact that you could not understand something does not make you qualified to comment with adjectives like hotch potch,no clarity etc. Many people benefitted immensely by Pratap's VWAP bands and they have said so in his thread. You did not understand...bad for you.

Pratap has fully disclosed his method and is very useful for many traders. He has not kept the method to his chest and posted the explanation /AFL and the person with average intelligence will find it easy to grasp. You did not understand does not qualify you to make such loose comments....refrain from making such comments.

We already have very few good people posting in TJ...such bad comments should be condemned by everyone if we want good people to continue posting here.

You talk about your method and posts , dont make loose comments on others.

Smart_trade

Totally agree Da.

a1b1 or anyone who says Pratap's method is bad : I have been trading Pratap's method and it is very very useful. First of all we don't find such detailed disclosure of methods like this. Even if we do, probably it doesn't work or requires lots and lots of hard work. His methods are easy to understand provided one knows price action and how it works. Just because there are many lines and bands in the method doesn't mean its bad. there are many people who have made their own variants from the method and trading it well. I don't use everything that Pratap uses. Use only bit of it and still find it great. XRAY is another example. He made his own variant out of it and also shared in the thread.

I can tell you (and I have tried most in last 1 year) that almost 90% of the methods shared in TJ works great (except some tukkas method). If one is not able to understand and use it profitabbly doesn't mean the method is wrong. Anyone sharing methods in public is much more adorable than ppl just putting target and tips. We must not forget that and be thankful to them instead of criticizing.

Hi Humble

I think I got your problem

For my levels, dont go with candle movement or any timeframe.
These levels are price based and are applicable for any TF and so candle closing has nothing to do with it.

Now let me explain.
Suppose the price is moving upside from 7565 and when I say that after crossing 7580 it should remain above 7580 for a target of 7620.

It means that price should remain/sustain above 7580 for all practical purpose (may be 1-2 points below 7580 for a short time) but should move above 7580 again. It will be very unlikely that it will move up and down by 5 points at 7580 (that is 7575 - 7585 move) for a long time. If it is so then you have to wait for clarity.

Further, for any further upmove, price should remain at or above 7580 for sufficient time. Not that it just touch 7580 and reverts or just there for 4-5 minutes and reverts. And if it reverts even after that, then it will mean that price does not want to move up any further and the target is out of bound.

Your another query
"Another case, what if the price crosses the level very swiftly on huge volumes and within a 3 min candle itself rises 80-100 points. "

I think I answered this as well, as it depends on price and not timeframe.

My advice will be when following different methods/strategies, do not mix up them, keep them in isolation.

I hope, it is clear to you. If need any more clarity. Do write. I am online may be till 2 or so.

Its your problem if you are not able to understand Pratap's beautiful Vwap method.. he has tried to make it clear in every way.. answered lot of queries & lot of charts.. If you dont make your own efforts to understand the method Then how can you say its a difficult method or its only colorful charts... lots of ppl are making money by following his method & only ppl like you those dont have nothing to share can say things like this.......

that is what the difference between you and him; where u see hotch potch he sees a trade;for u its no clarity but for him its a clear picture and its not different style every time its handling various mkt conditions(trend sideways volatile) in different way.
it is your problem if you are not getting anything out of his chart & system.
and he is not here to give you detailed explainations as per your wish; method has been explained in details with daily trades n charts.

what u mean to say is if you are reading a book and u dont get anything from it that means that book is not worth..huh

I have been using Pratap's Vwap methods since he has introduced and explained here. This is a very effective method, and with the parameters you can always tweak as per your need.
Its unfortunate that you haven't understood the system despite Pratap's nice explanation with various charts and afls.
Do not undermine anybody or any system when you are not fully understood and tried the same.
Be humble and genuine ,this forum is not for arrogant bullies..many of them I have seen disappearing after short stints in my long association with TJ.

haha funny and sick reply by a1b1..

Its almost 8-9 months Pratap Ji shared his trading method.

man, trading isnt a Lolypop. If its that easy everyone would be a Profitable Trader or atleast a Trader(as I see many Analyst type Buy here,Sell there Tipsters)
You need to sit and read Pratap's thread completely. If I were you,I'd have marked few couple of 100's charts and ask Pratap Ji and other traders trading VWAP to guide me..
I'd have made their life painful just by asking my questions..But after posting just 10 charts,I really dont need to ask any query on VWAP..

But I wont make fun of anyone like you..May be you are an Analyst and not a Trader..When Nifty is falling you are giving a calls, rather than shorting that Yummy Trade..

may be you commented on Albert Einstein just because you didnt undestand Physics right...thats your nature..

Keep it up..I really have nothing to do..Just read above what I'd have done IF I were at your place..

IF you dont understand Tamil,Kannada,Russian movies then thats your problem..But you can ATLEAST use Subtitles to understand them..
