re: Day trading Nifty & Banknifty Futures

i wonder wat fate awaits fr d shorters on BSE as d last live on BSE stoped at 9.39 am.wen it reopens , d rates wil align wid d current prices of NSE widin a second...horrors waiting fr short sellers of BSE !(considering d scenario dat nifty spurts).
if nifty cracks before BSE reopens den its a win win fr shorters of BSE

I concur with your view. My analysis also indicates a major top around Feb/March 2016. With respect to sector leaders, we have already seen a major out performance in Pharma even before the markets bottomed out. Stocks like aurobindo, ajantha pharma etc. have provided phenomenal returns. This is going to be one hell of a bull run going forward with intermediate corrections providing entry opportunities. For a trader , it does not matter whether the market peaks in 2016 or 2020. For him , the only thing that matters is the day to day opportunity that market provides. However, if one has the long term trend/perspective of the market clearly etched in the mind, it does provide a very useful tool for traders. Coming back to the markets, I see an intermediate top in Nifty around the 7840-7880 area with a possibility of 7-10 % correction from those levels. Feels good to post my view after a short break! Wishing all a wonderful trading day!

nt sure weder it may repeat n subsequently cement my view/myth wid urs,wat i hav observed frm my past xperience is dat v find ourselves in a furious bull mkt after a gap of every 8 years from d previous top, a mkt wch sucks in even d hardcore bear 2 put his wepons down n join d bull camp.
> frm d infamous HARSHAD MEHTA bull top of 4500 in 1992
> after 8 years d 6500 top of KETAN PAREKH in 2001
> to d top of 21k IN 2008
> nxt 2016 ????

nd yes,1 sector is always d leader of d pack wch lends a lifetime pain 2 d respective investors to remember as a lesson after d torpedo lands down .

> 2000/2001 > IT
>2008 > real estate
