It will not stop...peoples greed is never satisfying....In fact 2 guys approached me last year...one saying he knows someone who makes money from stock market and he pays 6% pm...with post dated cheques.....I told him not interested...and also warned him...but he went ahead and invested Rs 5 Lacs...he got 6 % returns for 3-4 month...then return cheques started bouncing and one day the wizard trader declared that he has lost all Rs 5 L in a adverse move in the market and if people want to get the money back , they should put Rs 5 L more and he is " ready to trade on fresh money and repay old losses.....and some guys even were considering funding that fool second time....
In second instance, a guy from commodities got in touch with me saying he is a hotshot commodities guru...and he promised 8% per month.....and he saying it is easy....he investing in Gold/silver, and other commodities....I refused....and in 3 months he went burst and there were police complaints against him...he ran away...I have seen atleast 2 dozen hotshot gurus in last few years...all are absconding now.....
We all know that doubling gold ornaments is a fraud and impossible in science...but still people fall for this trick even in metro cities and educated class....
