I dont know why you are mixing up demon and Ev's. Definitely the collective intelligence of voters needs to be respected. Just as traders we all know that market is collectively right.

I think demon is just one step in the larger scheme of things. So more is yet to come and it may or may not be so shock inducing.

EVs, Solar, Concentrated Solar, Hydrogen are the way to go. The Govt is prodding the Nation in the right direction.

One important thing that you are missing is that reduction of oil imports strengthens India's economy. Now don't tell me that coal is imported too. The imported coal percentage is lower and moreover that was a mess previous government created which the current guys are trying to fix.

People voted for the current Government because the alternatives appear to be either silly or scary.

I respect your views and what you said was correct about demonetization that its a scheme of bigger things.When brilliant people made a mistake of not doing the bigger scheme of things smoothly, how can we expect them to redirecting a path of one sector in the country smoothly.Whether its bigger thing or small one, unless you do change them smoothly it will affect you. Even a doctor wont ask the patient to stop drinking alcohol all of a sudden. Though its injurious to patient to drink alcohol, doctor will suggest to reduce the qty first and then gradually ask him to stop drinking.That is how the change has to happen.Current guys are trying to fix? I would be the first person to welcome it if they do it instead of creating a new one. God bless.

By Demon, I meant demonetization.

Current guys trying to fix is what I was referring to the thermal power capacity created before 2014 which works only with foreign coal and that forced us to import coal. Not that India has any coal shortage. Modi Govt asked Coal India to set up washeries to improve the domestic coal so that it matches with the unrealistic capacity that was earler created. I am tracking Coal India for the last 3 years and this information is public.
