:woot::woot::woot: or price of grains?
As far as I know they were used to map price of grains as early as 1800 in Japan.

If you have literature pertaining to their use in "prediction of crop production" or "environment" kindly do share with us.
Candlestick charts were used by Japanese rice traders for trading rice.They used to plot the candlesticks on the wall of their trading area with charcoal.

It's a curious case that candlesticks were actually used to predict crop production... Maybe they've been related to environment as well.
Not prediction of crop. Though the origin is not very clear, basically I think they started with idea of recording ohlc points on a single snapshot and slowing variety of patterns came up. Western analysts took it to peaks...

That would be the truth. I was just thinking out of the box relating to climate change... Nature has other forces to determine the peak and valleys.. Maybe an ace trader can predict if he knows them :)

Are you deeply hurt on today's game ..
I stopped watching it years ago. I actually wanted to be an independent researcher from my graduation time for the good of all.. but went on to become quality analyst and now self employed as technical analyst :) God knows where the road leads to, still.

@Riskyman bhayya can you predict bullish trend? What's your view on RECLTD. I think going to get bullishness.
Yes Bhayya. I can consider looking at bullish trends once in a while :)

REC still in a bullish mode on weekly charts so long as its holding 130 levels. If I had to buy it as a momentum play or a short term trade, I would buy it only above 155 levels.
I personally dont like to hold any stock that is government owned because of policy changes etc.
