Day Trading Stocks & Futures

those of you trading stocks intraday, do you plan your trades before market opens of you have couple of scrips which you track intraday ?
what exactly is the process you guys follow?

I do check pre-open to see if the stocks that I guessed are active there. Also place pre-open top gainers and losers on market watch. I will immediately look into possible reasons why they are there. But trading at 9: 15 does not work. I tend to watch how they open with gap up etc and observe if they collapse or keep moving up etc. I may or may not trade but keep them on watch list for that day. So many other factors like global market trends and if the day is dull or trending etc impact the day trading work.

I also buy/sell BNF options but not as day trades. This trade I look at independently as different from my day trading business.

Edit: Sorry I got the question wrong earlier. To reply to the question, I do not place orders in pre-trade. I just look at them for trends.

We haven’t seen depression in modern times except in Japan. That’s why free money (zero interest rate or -ve in some countries) so as to have inflation is floated in western countries after 2008. In depression we get negative inflation (Japan classical example).

That’s why India should aim for 7-8% inflation in my opinion. It will increase farmers income, everyone’s income and GDP too.
Here's a question. Let's say a country has a GDP of 1 Trillion at a population of 100 million but then, due to lower birth-rates or population reduction measures or whatever, the population drops to 90 million or 80 million or whatever. Now, all other things being equal, what do you think happens to the GDP?

I once put an AMO, but the stock opened gap up and went up. Loss of greater than 0.5% booked. But afternoon stock came down more than 1% from yesterday close price. I only found it later. Actually stopped for the day with loss. No AMO ever since then..

Placed AMO recently for sell order got executed for me in profit as stock tanked 8%.

Not going to do this again as could easily gone against me.

AMOs are useful for delivery trades for long term. Not very useful for intraday.
