Day Trading Stocks & Futures

re: Day trading Nifty & Banknifty Futures

Max gain is where max pain is... I'm anyways in Nov. Series and not Oct Series..
Its not a good way of trading. I can give example suggesting my view. Please share yours also.

19th Sep 2013 - 6100 put Sep = 60
19th Sep 2013 - 6200 put Oct = 152

Hence Time value was 90

26th Sep 2013 - 6100 put Sep = 210
26th Sep 2013 - 6100 put Oct = 245

Hence Time value was 35

Now choose your poison and decide !!

Its not only time value that impacts, its also IV - volatility.

I'm playing naked puts, given the short time for expiry, ts better to play in next series rather than see your money vanish... Vanish magic trick I have done multiple times during pre nursery nifty days

I just want to say that instead of buying next month puts buy current month and sell it on the last day of expiry and buy the next month's same put, if interested. In this way you will pay less time value.

BTW I always buy naked puts.
