Everyone says market/stocks are manipulated but none can answer why it has to manipulated??

Of course price will be rigged and manipulated. This is done to manage price.

If I have enough money to move a stock then I can sell options and move the price in the other direction.
not ethical but 100% legal.

Not legal. Any kind of activity involved in moving prices artificially is strictly prohibited by SEBI.
