Did I put a gun to your head or threatened you in any way to agree to my viewpoint? It was you who asked me to leave your thread for voicing a different opinion and it was also you who started throwing childish insults. Here also you are assuming me to have LEARNED something. If I make you that irritated, simply avoid me.

He seems to have problem in digesting difference in opinion. It happens in public forums, but that is no reason to make it an ego match.

Yes agreed, I made a mistake by posting a video where traders turned hedge fund managers are making millions...but that was to tell people that trading need not be limited to 3000 pm salary going to 8000-10000. But when we learn about people making millions and try to learn how they did it to the top, we may not make millions but we can be profitable traders atleast. And billions of dollars came to these traders because of their proven trading skills...not out of inheritance.

I think one thing we are all missing here.. most of these hedge fund folks are not mango people.. they dont start trading like novice.. typically they have mentors who themsevles have been successfull traders or they enter trading as full time jobs due to their alma matter .. harvard/wharton...

anyone from harvard/wharton on this forum here....

I'm not doubting their capabilities, as just like iit/iims in india, there are hundreds who come out of even the ivy leagues in us, but still there are few folks like todar jones (who had Elii Tullis to teach him cotton derivates trading) or others..

So yes there is ton;s of money to be made... and you dont need ur own money to do so.. All you need is guru who can mentor you.. who himself is successfull trader..

So what we are saying is if you are working with mr. junjunwala and intern with him and work with him for few years, yes technically you may start as clerk like todar jones, but you will learn the tricks of trade which will make you successfull to run your own hedge fund..

how many mukesh/anil ambani's have been made.. do you think ambani's learnt stuff in wharton/stanford... no .. they learnt what dhirubhai taught them..

just my 2 cents.. meanwhile watch the video and be inspired.. btw. i do look for inspiration watching these guys and looking at what they are doing at another site called business insider which has hedge fund section..

good for inspiration, but know the reality..

No. they have not...when they sensed that the buying force is exhausting and last buyer has bought, they knew that the market was topping out and they stopped their buying and may be probably aligned to the downtrend by selling too.

We can go on arguing endlessly on this because we both have different sets of beliefs. But all that does not help any of us ....so matter and the argument closed for me.

Thanks for sharing your views...good to know how other person thinks.

If FII's were the driving force, then they decieded among themselves its time we are tired of buying...

And why so at specific point.. why not @ 6300 or 6280.... what has changed.. is the macro changed.. or the fact the midcaps has still not rallied and are still down 30-40% from all time highs..

how do u deciede one day that pnb has to be taken 10% higher just before results which are going to be bad and then crash...

boss.. indian markets everyone knows the news already.. stocks rise before news and then crash post news..

same is with index..

agreed dii's are selling due to redemption pressures as retail investors see's index and not fundamentals..
