Dow, S&P end at record highs on Macy's, Yellen

Asian stocks set to bounce, dollar eases on Yellen's comments

Asian share markets were set to bounce on Thursday after Federal Reserve Vice Chair Janet Yellen said the Fed has "more work to do" to help the economy, spurring U.S. stocks higher and putting the dollar on the defensive.

Yellen's introductory remarks, released ahead of her Senate confirmation hearing on Thursday to succeed Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, supported the current ultra-easy monetary policy stance.
"As expected, Yellen did not go out of character," said Kathy Lien, managing director at BK Asset Management in New York. "Expectations for a Fed tapering in December have become overextended and as a result, we will see a weaker dollar over the next 24 hours."

The U.S. stock futures hit a record high following Yellen's comments, which came after regular U.S. share market close on Wednesday.

Yes that what I said, that I was doing the right thing by buying puts. I know he didn't answered all., but one post, thats what I interpreted and reversed positions.

Thats where I'm agreeing to his discussion on one should follow own analysis, and not get affected by anyone elses.
huh...which of my post you interpreted wrongly ? I have always maitained that Sequential sell signal has triggered and even if the market goes up by 100-120 points, the sell is still valid. I dont think I was ambiguous in my thoughts and the posts. As long as the market does not close above the stoploss level, the sell was valid. As I posted in Sequential thread the stoploss levels also so the sell was very much valid and it I never said that the market is looking bullish. This time the market never threatened the stoploss ...never went near it also but in a few cases it does and tests our nerves and patience. Sequential is pure calculations and definite method...it has no scope for interpretation. Either it works or it fails...period.1-2 days market closing green makes no difference in overall sequential context and direction.

As I posted in Sequential thread, sequential is a long term position method , so it is always better to use it as a background set up and trade with our own small time frame methods but in overall context and direction of sequential.

Best wishes, and take care...we all would like to have you back with us soon.

Dear ST, how to know if current one is seq or combo?
One has to count both Sequential and Combo simultanously ( after the setup is complete, the countdowns of both to be counted simultanously ) . They give signals at same bar or with 1-2 bars difference. The present sell signal was from both Sequential and Combo.

Please read the methods properly. Dont take trading decisions on wrong interpretations.
