DDE link to AB-Nifty Future(nseindia) realtime through Excel

Hi Everybody,

Without claiming any credit,(becouse, so many of u must be aware of the configuration) I have to share that I have been able to get free realtime Future data from nseindia to AB through DDE link with an excel shhet.Refresh is possible as per wish time interval (sec also).Can be done for equity also.

Problem:
Nseindia itself updates its quote after very long time interval.Exce fetches and communicate to AB every second but nse remains unchanged for longer period. Thus actual tick is missed.

Anyone knows? any site wich gives realtime quote of future evenif requires mannual refresh. or any other way anybody can suggest.

Dear Lee,
I have performed all the functions as detailed by you..However the connectivity status is yellow and showing WAIT..

Also what is the procedure to add symbols in the excel sheet??

Lee sir,
i have downloded dde excel file. But when i create database in amibroker i get only two data source 1. Local database,2. Metastock@8 data plugin. But could not get ddedownloader . Could you please guide me.

Hi Raj,

I wish u very happy new year,
I have explained above how to create Excel file and name the sheet, better u create urself. As far as prob with ur AB,download the attached zip file, unzip, and paste it Plugin folder at ur Amibroker Directory. (try C:program Files-Amibroker-Plugin). Next time u will be able to c DDE plug in at data source.
