if they are for intraday ..I just book profit or loss..........but if they are positional.....then no stop loss......

How do you decide intraday/positional? When you hold without SL for positional, do you hedge it? Has this strategy yielded profits in the long run?

positional is what I think where nifty is heading....like sudoku....
and sometimes straddle/strangle ..like 5600 pe/ce combo etc.....but for me they had not given any gains....cause they test your patience as linkon says....many times I have booked loss @ 40 - 50-% then they hit target......
this time looks no different as nifty is moving in a 5550 -5625 range from a week.....

my trading company always posts losses at the month end , thats why there are no shareholders..:lol:...
half of this month was kind of ok, but when nifty started to play in a range, lost track...
