I do have accounts with ShareKhan, RKG, Zerodha and VPS. RKG was wonderful when I started with them and later found Zerodha was more attractive with their 'per trade' plan. Recently VPS with their hybrid plan but unfortunate I could not enjoy their service for long.

Today I called on Procon for some queries on terminal, pay in/out, margin etc. I have not yet started application process with them as I'm still waiting for their application forms through post.

Any full time trader would get over to better firm if it suits their trading needs most. Having as many as brokerage firms in comparision list could help all traders take informed decision and not just me.

Thanks.

Check their website for "Table of Charges" its already updated.
As you have joined with Procon, pls give us following details:-

What is that extra Clearing Charges of Rs 200 mentioned in brokerage calculator for Equity Futures? Is it stamp duty or hidden transaction charges in the name of 'Clearing Charges'? There is also Clearing Charges of Rs 100 extra for Commodity.

If it is not stamp duty then actual Transaction charges is too much, as 190+200=390 on higher side like Zerodha. But their is no stamp duty benefit like Zerodha as Procon is Channi based and we all know that Stamp Duty of TN is very high like Rs 600/Cr with no max cap.

Their Rs 10 OR unlimited brokerage @Rs 999 is good but we must know first what is these extra 'Clearing Charges' (Stamp Duty OR Hidden Transaction Charges)?

PS:
If you don't know about equity, then just answer about Rs 100 extra 'Clearing Charges' for commodity. Is it Stamp Duty or Transaction Charges is 250+100 =350 and there is stamp duty also?

I suppose its "CLEARING MEMBER CHARGES", which is Rs.200/Cr and Rs.100/Cr for equity and commodity respectively. This information is clearly mentioned in their website.

Others discount brokers like RKSV, Zerodha, TSO etc don't have such extra charges other than transaction charges. Then it will add up with Transaction Charges. So Rs 390 for equity and Rs 350 for commodity. Even with low brokerages total charges per trade with them will be more in Equity Futures due to this "CLEARING MEMBER CHARGES".
And they don't have Stamp Duty facility like Zerodha.
So not much advantages for Nifty Traders.

Now Commodity:-
still their total transaction charges of Rs 350 charges is already
Rs 50 less than RKSV and
Rs 90 less than Zerodha.

Now what is their Stamp Duty rate for Commodity?
Are you a Crude Oil Trader? What is Stamp Duty for Crude Oil with them?

I know TN has zero Stamp Duty for Crude Oil. If they can give that Stamp Duty benefit like Zerodha's maxcap Rs 50. It'll be a good reason to open a/c with them for Crude Oil traders. :)

Thank you very much for this information.
