Hello All,

This is my first post and just typing here to comment on the "Finvasia" just to help others.... As usual by searching the internet/discussion forums i found finvasia. with their cheap brokerage plans I opened account with them after confirming they have online funds transfer(self payin and payout). But they really dont have one!!!! They have only HDFC bank NEFT transfer or cheque deposit options on the same bank. Their backoffice does not have payin or payout options. This is very surprising to me when I found that they mention they have branches in Canada!!!!!. Till now after two months I still dont know how to transfer funds and everytime I call they say that their software team is working on it but no use for morethan 2 months now. There is a lot of buildups in their website but poor thing is they dont have either self payin or payout or atleast multiple banks to transfer funds...... Poor customer service whom lie all the time that they will callback but that will never happen. This is not a good company to deal with for peoples looking for discount brokers.
I would highly appreciate if anyone give suggestion for cheap brokers with self payin and payout options as I hate calling the brokers/sending screenshot/emails etc for payin and payout.

I am posting here because this is also one of the place where I foudn finvasia as cheapest broker.

Well as you joined them and had such experience it was really nice of you to share here at traderji.

Around 6 months back I called these guys after seeing their ad. What I found was that claims are very big on the website but when I talked to their representative everything seemed to be different rather pathetic. The representative was persisting on opening an account with them without being able to answer many questions which I wanted to be answered before I would give a thought of opening an account. Many facilities which a trader wants are missing, like just you said about proper means of money transfer and withdrawal.

I then thought of better staying far from them.

Here is a comparison of charges of Brokers offering unlimited trading at fixed charge. Info collected from internet sites.

For 100 Nifty Buy/Sell @6000.

I could not calculate for Wisdom and Action since info not available.

Action financial charges 1 paisa per order but AMC Rs.1200 for unlimited trading per year. They seem to be taking interest free refundable security deposit for Depository. Rs.5000 to 50000.

I do not know about service quality. I avoided Finvasia and Comfort.
Info about missing charges and Service will be useful for all

This for options - I am assuming 450 Options (9 lots) @100 requires about same margin as Nifty 100 futures.

i wan ted to know which is the cheapest discount brokers in india

i have talked with zerodha and their response is quiet good .

i have also gone to their site and computed all charges ( including government taxes and brokerage ) per crore
which are as under :

1) equity ( intraday ) = 1855.00

2) equity ( delivery ) =10605.00

3) f & o futures = 1455.00

4) f & o options = 9893.00

they have a transaction charges of rs 490 per crore which they say that since they are not clearing member they have to pay it and it is a part of the above .

primary conversation with them is quiet satisfactory

i have also checked with rksv and their charges are also approx the same

would like to know the views of the members regarding their views on cheapest brokers .

also like to know about whether margin for f & o segment is same for traditional vs discount brokers

please share ur views

Dear josh excellent comparisons. However please add here Wisdom Capital's plan of Freedom 1111/- for Commodities also and their trading platform is Nest & ODIN for all segments.
