employees cant trade

Ive joined ShareKhan as CEE they said u cant trade in market and u have to close the Demat A/c. my A/c is in Edelweiss. my boss also said if i found trading which can be tracked from my PAN card i'll be given pink slip and a email will be forwarded with my details to all broking firms that ive been found doing insider trading. plz help guys is der any rule by SEBI which stops broking firm employees from trading.

Use a family members account / pan card. Whats the problem??:rofl:

Hamare desh mei itne vadde vadde scam ho rahe hai. Yeh kya cheez hai...:rofl:

Firstly, if u are a full-time employee, you will not be able to trade during the market hours as it will coincide with office hours.

So, Trading is not possible.

But, there is a caveat.

You can have a trading a/c with other brokerage house and you can occassionally trade.

But, if you are found to be trading regularly during office hours, even a layman boss would fire you.

Long-term investments are the right of every citizen. Just make sure that you trade only during your spare time, non-office hours. I, know, there won't be much time to trade.

But, if you want to be a full-time trader, better quit your job and start trading.
